  • A marvelous Mountain Lion portrait. It is all about the eyes, beautiful, yet haunting. This cat is about eight feet long and probably over 200 pounds. The lion is reclusive and usually avoids civilization.
  • Something is running through the brush. Perhaps a snack, or better yet, lunch. Note the beautiful eyes.
  • This cat lives in the rocks which is a natural habitat and shelter. She blends into the mountain, it is difficult to see her. Mother Nature is cool.
  • From her high cliff home, she is contantly watching for prey or danger. She blends well into the background
  • The sun is setting and it is time to hunt. From his lofty perch, he is ready and will soon depart.
  • Mountain lion showing great disapproval and care must be taken. They are great hunters and we can see why.
  • Ole Blue Eyes, ever alert to her surroundings, watches carefully for danger. She is almost impossible to see in the heavy thicket.
  • The mother lion would like to have a nap but she is worried about where her kittens are and what kind of trouble they are in.

  • This beautiful cat is hunting for dinner in her vast habitat. Her next meal may be a few feet away or many miles. She does not care how extraordinary her home is.

  • As evening approached, this cat was watching me, ever vigil. The setting sun turns the forest ablaze.
  • The cat sees someting of interest running through the brush. The mountain's lions range will depend upon the amount of prey found. They enjoy hunting close to home.
  • It is almost dark and you would never know he was there.
  • They have had a difficult morning playing and a short nap is in order.
