  • This young moose was found with his mother on an island located between two streams. I had to cross over and became soaked for my effort. I walked slowly behind him and he turned to look.
  • This is a massive moose. Note the size of his head. He is resting in the tall grass and I sat with him for a long time. He seems comfortable with me but keeps watch.

  • The bull moose will drop his antlers after mating season each winter. New antlers will sprout in the spring. Antlers grow rapidly within three to five months. This fellow has a large rack.
