It is important to get your balloon up before the sun rises too high and warms the air. Warm air makes ballooning difficult.

  • The morning sun now cast its early glow upon the balloons.
  • The gas is fired providing the lift needed to fly high above the city/
  • Up, up and away.
  • Each balloon releases their lines and the balloons lift off into the night. They cannot be seen until they turn on the gas to give them lift.
  • They fill the sky, colorful balloons everywhere.
  • The specialty balloons are magnificent works of art. They are large and difficult to inflate and fly. The chicken is comical. Because they are so large, they are sometimes hard to keep in the air.

  • Make way,make way. We are coming through. Traffic is difficult with 500 balloons.
  • And we have lift off. They climb high in the black sky
  • The sun is beginning to rise, we have light and the early birds are beginning to lift off. The air is crisp but clear. Each person in the basket feels like the Wright Brothers first flight.
  • What can I say, what can anyone say. This is a marvelous balloon and fun to watch as it floats overhead.

  • The air is very cold, you are standing in the darkness, but there is much activity in the night. Suddenly, as if lighting has struck, the flames fly high and the enormous balloons are being filled.
  • Some of the balloons are larger than others, but they are all colorful on this cold, brisk night. Soon they will let go of their lines and sore upward.
  • One balloon begins to rise in the darkness, then two, and three. Soon the whole field is filled with color as the balloons fill with air. The crowd is cheering.
