The arctic fox has a thick coat for sub-zero temperatures. Mother Nature has been kind. During the winter months they are white but in summer, the fur changes to a shade of brown.

  • A young fox on the hunt.  He has a quick look and was gone.
  • He looks a little lean, perhaps hunting has not been too good.  He is hustling through the brush trying to pick up the scent of prey.  He has a very pretty face.
  • The eveing hunt begins.  The blue hue of a winter evening enhances the red fox.
  • These two buddies were having fun playing near their den.  They run out, then back, then bite each other.  Arctic Fox are know by several names, White Fox, Polar Fox, and Snow Fox.
